Bethany Le Corre
Bethany Le Corre was born and raised in Victoria where she began her dance training. She attended The Professional Program at the National Ballet School of Canada and finished her professional training in the UK in 2011. Bethany began her first season dancing professionally with Ballet Victoria in 2012 where she quickly moved up the ranks to dancing soloist and principal roles. She retired from dancing professionally from Ballet Victoria in 2016 and is now a full-time teacher at the Ballet Victoria Conservatory.
Bethany has been teaching and choreographing across Canada and the USA for over 14 years and is continuously inspired by her students to push them to their full potential. She is also BVC’s festival director for competitions which helps give the students even more rehearsal and performance opportunities. Bethany has had the opportunity to choreograph on Ballet Victoria’s professional dancers the last couple of years. She also volunteers her time as a section head in a non-for-profit dance festival called The Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival.
