After finishing her education, she worked with Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theater, and Odessa National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine. Working with the two major large Ukrainian classical repertoire companies gave Olena the unique opportunity to dance many soloist roles in all the great world-renowned classical ballet productions such as Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, Giselle and many others. In these reputable Ballet Companies, she had the opportunity to travel and perform in many different countries on world renowned stages around the globe. In 2005 Olena joined Cairo National Ballet in Egypt and after two unforgettable years full of new experiences in classical and contemporary productions, she moved to Canada to join The Atlantic Ballet Theatre, where she performed principal and soloist roles originally created for her by the company’s artistic director and lead choreographer, Igor Dobrovolskiy. After seven years with the company, Olena retired from the professional stage and started to coach and pass her knowledge and experience. She has worked with numerous Canadian ballet schools, teaching and choreographing for students of all ages, as well as preparing her students for local and international ballet competitions. Olena’s former students have been accepted by professional companies in Canada and internationally.
