Davide Limpis
Davide was born in Copertino, Italy, and his journey in dance began at the Academia Veneta di Danza e Balletto. He was fortunate to receive scholarships to study at some of the most prestigious institutions, including Teatro alla Scala, English National Ballet, Royal Ballet School, and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. These experiences gave him a deep understanding of the Vaganova ballet teaching method. In 2011, Davide joined the Royal Theatre of San Carlo in Naples, where he graduated in June 2016. Shortly after, he moved to Alberta Ballet II in August 2016. Since 2017, Davide has been a proud member of Ballet Victoria, retiring as a dancer after his fifth season with the Company in 2023-2024. Teaching has always been a passion for Davide. Whenever he saw young dancers rehearsing, he couldn’t resist sharing tips and guidance. In 2019, he took this passion further by officially starting to teach and coach at several schools on the island. Davide loves seeing his students grow and improve, which brings him immense joy. Davide is excited to continue sharing his love for dance and extensive knowledge with the new generation, helping them pursue their own dreams and goals in dance.
