Katharine was born and raised in Victoria, BC, where she began dancing at the age of three. In 2016 she joined the conservatory’s intensive program where she took classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap. Through BVC, Katharine has had many opportunities to pursue her passion for dance such as playing the role of Clara in Ballet Victoria’s The Nutcracker, training in summer programs with Canada’s National Ballet School, and competing in provincial and international competitions. During her time at BVC Katharine has assisted classes of all styles with children of all ages for over 7 years. She is overjoyed to continue her passion for teaching at BVC this year and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with her students!
